WOW! What a night! The music and fellowship was great! About 200 folks were there from a number of different churches!
The Edge Student Ministry along with The Webster / Claiborne Baptist Association is bringing Jeff Capps in concert to Minden. Jeff Capps is a worship leader from Texas whose desire is to spread a passion for the glory of God through songs, scripture, and prayer. Jeff believes worship is our response to God’s glory, not something we do out of compulsion, but an action of satisfaction in God’s unwavering and needless nature. Jeff has spent his high school and college years leading worship for several North Carolina ministries, as well as traveling to lead events all over the country. He has a desire for students and student ministry.
The concert is going to take place at the Community House of Minden, located on Bridwell Street on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 6:30. We will be serving hot chocolate and Ugly Mug coffee. The cost for this area wide event is absolutely free! Come join us for a night of worship, fun and fellowship.
