But are you winning in all of your life?
The Bible tells us that we are all losers.
We have all messed up.
But losers can become winners!
In 2003, Minden High went 0-10, a winless, losing season. Three years later they are 10-0.
Likewise, God offers us forgiveness through Jesus!
This forgiveness gives us a winning season!
Let's look at this more closely.
The Bible Says ...
- God Loves You
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
- But You Are A Sinner
"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
- Sin Brings Death, But ...
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
- Jesus Christ Died For You
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
- You Must Trust in Jesus as Your Savior and Lord
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10
- Will You Call to Him in Prayer?
"For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
- What to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again to bring eternal life. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust You as Savior and follow You as Lord, in the fellowship of Your church. Amen.
