The following "Max's Notes" is from the
April 29, 2009 Newsletter:
The Louisiana College Chorale concert
was inspiring. A big thank you to all who hosted these traveling strangers (3
John 5-6). I want to share a detail about the event that most of you don't know.
The group was to meet back here at the church Saturday morning at 9:30 to leave
for their next activity. At about 9:45 they assembled in the Fellowship Hall to
do a morning devotional/worship time. This student led time was composed of over
an hour of praise and worship music. Then a student presented a marvelous
message. The service ended with close to an hour of prayer time. It was very
inspiring to see such love and devotion to the Lord from this group of college
students. They finally pulled out at noon to go eat and travel to their next
concert. I was impressed by these students and their director. The Lord is
working on the campus of Louisiana College.
