Church Choir Info:
Our Church Choir and our Children's Choirs are working on Christmas music. Would you like to join us? Children meet at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Adults
meet at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Come join us as we celebrate the birth of our wonderful Lord Jesus.

With Summer coming many of you have been out of rehearsals. We sure do need you at rehearsals, however, if you can not be sure to listen to your rehearsal CD.

Children and Preschool Choirs:
Your "Spring Concert" is Sunday, May 18, at 6:30 p.m. Make every effort to attend!
Note: No Children's Activities on Wednesdays, May 21 and 28.
Summer Son Shine Kids begins on Wednesday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. --
(Concert date: Sunday, August 10, at 6:30 p.m.)

Thank you for your faithfulness to Lord and His Church! It adds a great deal to our worship each Sunday to have a choir loft full.

This is a great time for new people to join us!

The Youth are invited to be a part of
the Church Choir.

the Sunday Morning Worship.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to all who had a part in our Christmas musicals. The Children's Choirs and the Church Choir did a great job reminding us of the wonderful Gift God gave to us! Thank you! We will see you Wednesday, January 9, when choirs resume for the new year!

Preparation for Christmas is underway!
The Church Choir is working on “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” to be presented Sunday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m. The performance will be followed by our Church Christmas Fellowship. The Church Choir will also present the music at “The Arbor” on Saturday, December 8, at 10:30 a.m.
The Children’s Choir is working on “Tell Me the Story of Jesus” to be presented Sunday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m. The performance will be followed by “Birthday Party for Jesus.”
Everyone is urged to attend as many rehearsals as possible.

Where has the summer gone! - - - Forgive me for not keeping up. But a lot has been happening in our music ministry.
1. The Church Choir has been singing most Sundays. It is exciting to see a good group each week and to have some new folks singing with us! Welcome! - - - We are currently working on music for the fall during our Wednesday rehearsals. We will preview our Christmas music at the "Church Choir Christmas Party!" This event will be Saturday, September 8, at 6:00 p.m., place will be announced. Anyone interested in singing with us for the Christmas music is invited to join us for our party!
The Choir will be singing on the following Sundays: August 5, 19, & 26

2. The Youth Praise Band has been delighting us with great new music. They are doing a great job of praising the Lord. - - - Daniel had a wonderful time with the Louisiana Baptist All State Youth Choir. media.lbc.org/LBASYC and media.lbc.org/LBASYC 2 for pictures.
3. The Children have been enjoying “Summer SonShine Kids” on Wednesday nights. They will perform their music on Sunday, August 12, at 6:30 p.m. - - - “Missions and Music” will begin their fall schedule on Wednesday, August 29. - - - The kids also had a marvelous time at VBS enjoying the music written by Jeff Slaughter. (Anna spent the summer on a Centri-Kid camp staff with Jeff Slaughter. He is a really neat guy who loves the Lord and enjoys worshiping Him through music. He share a little about next years VBS music. Sounds exciting!) Thank you Corey and Daniel for your leadership in VBS.
April, 2007
What a great week we had during our Tent Revival. The music was indeed great! Thanks to all helped with the sound and all the other things for the week.

"Choir Notes" Music Lessons will return Wednesday, April 25.
March, 2007
All plans are in place for our Tent Revival. The music will be great! Phillip Willis will lead our music. Our special guests will be "Gary Meggs and the Ezekiel 3:18 Band" on Monday, "Todd and Alicia DuBose" on Tuesday, "Testify" on Wednesday, and "Wendy Britt" on Thursday.
There will be no revival choir.
The Choir will be singing on the every Sunday in March.
February, 2007
Music plans for the Tent Revival are coming along. We are in for a treat! We got some great guests coming to sing for us. Spread the word! See www.northacres.org/revival for details. I am excited about our Tent Revival! Let's pray that the Lord would move mightily during the time.
Here we are in the cold winds of February. The cold winds seem to keep us coughing and wanting to stay home. But, we need you in rehearsals and worship. It takes all of us to form a choir, to help each other learn the music, and to praise our wonderful Lord. Try your best to be here every time possible. Thanks for that effort!
The Church Choir is tentatively set to sing on February 11, 25, and March 4, 11, 18, and 25. So you can see we need you in rehearsals to learn this music.

We only had one person to audition for the Louisiana Baptist All-State Youth Choir. Daniel will part of that group again this year. Tour dates are June 20-29. Congratulations Daniel!
Youth are encouraged to sing with the Church Choir each Sunday morning. (Rehearsal is Wednesday after UnConformed.)

The Louisiana Baptist All-State Youth Choir Auditions will be Monday, January 15, 5:00 p.m., at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston.

to all who participated in our Christmas musicals.
The Children's Choirs did a great job with the "Free Gift."

Thank you for all the extra rehearsal time, for sharing the musical with The Arbor residents,
for a special night of worship during the musical, and for leading us in worship all through December.
